I found a page a while ago that explains how to disable UAC in Vista. User Account Control is responsible for the annoying messages that come up asking if you want to allow something to happen. After about 3 days with Vista, I was so tired of it... I went on google and found this.

Theres alot of things you can do to make vista better, in my opinion Vista needs alot of work still.

It needs work, but sp1 will be put out soon, hopefully that'll help. I dont notice any errors or anything, just things I would have done differently.

Agreed, theres no errors just things could have been much better. I was talking to someone about ways to make Vista run faster, I can't remember what the thing to use is called though.
I found it...
Use Your USB Flash Drive

If you’ve got a spare USB flash drive with at least 256MB free space, you can use it to help give your system a helping hand. Plug the drive into a spare USB2.0 slot and – when prompted – select “Speed up my system” when prompted.

I did that for a while and didn't notice much difference. I have 2 gigs of ram though, so I'm set, but thats a good tip for users.
