Vista Issue

My laptop runs Vista Home Premium but the theme has changed to vista home basic and won't go back any idea's or will i have to do a system restore?

Just try restarting it. When a program is running that won't support vista's aero effect, it switches to basic.

Look and see what you have running, and close a few things.

Yeah did restart and everything but it's sorted now, system restore.

I think it's best to know the problem, unless you get stuck and really need to use system restore.

My advice is to stick with XP, at least M$ have released a SP1 for Vista solving some problems, but it's still buggy

There are quite a few things that can go wrong with vista. All I do is wait until solutions can be found.

i love xp, xp is for towers, and vista is for laptops, in my opinion

vista sucks a big time, i had many driver & software issues with it, so i switched back to xp

Same, im always having to reformat my HDD but it does clear the whole thing out and makes it run alot faster :D
